When I visited her again at 9am I saw that things were just getting started. I called Brian on the cell phone and with short breaths of excitement I said "It's Time! Right Now" He knew exactly what I was talking about and hung up so he could come down from the house as fast as he could! I had watched her very closely. Her udder had filled weeks in advance but not fully up front until 2 weeks prior to birthing, She was spotting the entire 8 days she was late, sometimes light, sometimes a bit thicker.
